Apple Harvest festival

Today we went to the Apple Harvest Festival about 2 hours away from here. It was a gorgeous day and the weather was perfect. The kids did a really good job riding in the car and had a blast at the festival. Griffin and Gray LOVED climbing on the river rocks. Of course Griffin did fall in at the end but he handled it well.

A quick pic of Ashby out of her stroller.
After lunch we took the kids to the play area and they had fun jumping in the huge hay stacks.

Gray was very brave sliding off the hay bales.
We tried to get a picture of the 3 kids at the pumpkin patch. This was the best one we got.
Griffin holding his "Ashby girl".

The view from the top of the apple orchard. We walked forever and couldn't find many apples this year.
Griffin climbing an apple tree.
Gray was DONE. He didn't want to walk anymore and tried crawling through the orchard. We were all spent so we gave up on apples and went home. Maybe we didn't need that many apples anyway. That would mean making applesauce and pie nonstop for the next few days.:)

FUN, FUN, FUN! We've always been afraid to go during the festival b/c I've heard it's packed. Maybe next year! Love the pic of the 3 of them!
