So on Saturday Joey and I had a little get-together for our friend, Carrie, and her son, Sam, that she recently adopted from Russia.
He is such a sweet little guy so we thought it only appropriate to have a little party for him. Nothing big but just a little something. Here are some pics of the morning. Carrie was super worried about how Sam would behave, but he was perfect.
He begged for food a little (and approved of the sausage casserole), opened some gifts, and played with the paper and bags. He even waved goodbye to his guests.

We had a great time Saturday. It meant so much to me that you guys did that for us. Sam did do better than I expected.
